Position Title: SAP Pre Sales Lead

Minimum Experience: 5+ Years


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proposals that showcase the capabilities and benefits of SAP solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concept (POC) sessions to illustrate how SAP products meet specific client needs.
  • Customize and tailor SAP solutions to align with the unique business processes and goals of each client.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on SAP best practices, industry trends, and solution options.
  • Advise clients on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation, providing insights and requirements gathered during the pre-sales process.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP products, features, and updates, and communicate these effectively to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, finance executives, CFOs, partners, and SAP representatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, case studies, and other materials to support the pre-sales process.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote SAP solutions and establish thought leadership.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pre-sales consultants, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their professional development.
  • Define and implement pre-sales strategies, processes, and best practices to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Manage the pre-sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities, assigning resources, and tracking progress to ensure timely and successful delivery.


Required Skills and Experience :

  • 5-6 years of proven experience in a pre-sales role, specifically focused on SAP solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP products and modules, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP Business Suite, SAP CRM, SAP BTP, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Strong understanding of business processes across various industries, with the ability to map these to SAP solutions.
  • Deep understanding of finance processes and principles, including financial reporting, management accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP finance modules and solutions, such as SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICO, SAP Treasury and Risk Management, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with finance professionals at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
