About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager specializing in Accounts Receivable/Payable to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing Accounts Receivable/Payable, demonstrating a strategic mindset to enhance the organization's financial health through effective management of receivables/payables processes.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, recording, reconciliations, collections, and monthly closings.
  • Monitor and report on accounts receivables/payables periodically.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Continuously assess and enhance accounts receivable/payable processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial performance.
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payables, including cash collection, discrepancy resolution, and timely customer communications.
  • Maintain records of sales, receivables, payables, security deposits, and process refunds as necessary.
  • Prepare and reconcile data with respect to Income Tax, GST, and other applicable regulatory acts across group companies.
  • Maintain reconciliations with inter-companies and other relevant business parties.
  • Provide accurate and efficient management information system (MIS) reports as required by management and team members.
  • Offer financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable management.
  • Prior experience with a renowned startup.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting regulations, and industry best practices. Working knowledge of Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, and other applicable regulatory acts. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
