Deputy Controller – Job Description Role Summary: Responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, controls, and audit management. Ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all finance processes. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close and prepare financial statements. Oversee GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and reconciliations. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards IND AS. Handle statutory, internal, and tax audit coordination. Support tax compliance and regulatory filings. Partner with FP&A and business teams to provide accounting insights. Drive process improvements and automation. Lead and mentor the accounting team. Qualifications CA / CPA preferred. 4-7 years in accounting, financial reporting, or controllership. Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with ERPs. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
