Artha Group leads in transforming the venture capital and private equity landscape, managing over ₹1,000 crores in assets across multiple funds, including Artha Venture Fund, Artha Select Fund, and Artha Continuum Fund. As we grow toward expanding our AUM by 5x over the next five years, we seek individuals who can contribute to our strategic foresight and sharp execution.


Role Summary:

The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a role designed for those who can balance strategic thought and operational execution with minimal oversight. This individual will lead critical initiatives across multiple domains—finance, operations, communication, and more—while enhancing the efficiency of the CEO’s office. It's important to note that this is not a role for the faint-hearted or those simply seeking managerial experience; it demands agility, high-level thinking, and the ability to oversee complex projects from inception to execution. The relationship with the CEO is one of collaboration and support, with the Chief of Staff acting as a trusted advisor and executor of the CEO's vision.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Work directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives that impact the firm’s growth trajectory. Lead critical projects and adapt to ensure alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Meeting Preparation and Follow-Ups:
  • Own the end-to-end process for CEO engagements, from preparing materials to ensuring follow-up actions are executed across teams.


  • Project Management:
  • Oversee cross-functional projects spanning areas such as administration, social media, marketing, finance, and communication, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget, without compromising strategic intent.
  • Finance Oversight:
  • Support the CEO in financial analysis and investment evaluations. Facilitate project alignment with Artha Group’s financial goals, driving decisions with a clear understanding of budget and impact. Candidates without strong finance experience need not apply.
  • Operational Efficiency and Reporting:
  • Streamline internal processes and reporting frameworks, ensuring precision in execution and clarity in presenting strategic outcomes.
  • Content Creation:
  • Manage internal and external content creation, ensuring all outputs reflect the strategic vision of the group, with a focus on key communication, presentations, reports, and thought leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • An MBA or equivalent from a recognized institution is expected. Finance expertise is non-negotiable.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, strategic operations, or senior project management role within venture capital, private equity, or similar sectors.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to lead high-impact projects across multiple domains with minimal supervision.
  • Skills:
  • Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and reporting skills.
  • A track record of delivering across multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting high-level strategy succinctly and clearly.


Compensation:

  • Annual CTC: ₹25 lakhs per annum, disbursed as ₹20 lakhs monthly and ₹5 lakhs at the end of 12 months.
  • ESOP & Carried Interest: Participation in both the ESOP pool and carried interest, contingent on performance and after 12 months.
  • Performance Bonus: Additional incentives based on exceptional performance and delivery.
