TCS is Hiring Data Architect For Pune and Chennai locationExperience : 8 - 12 yearsMode of interview: VirtualLocation : Pune / ChennaiJOB DESCRIPTION:Must have:- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and pipeline orchestration tools.- Familiar with modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka).- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider:- AWS: S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, Athena, EMR- Azure: Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Gen2, Databricks, Cosmos DB- GCP: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataplex- Solid understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, data masking, tokenization).- Strong knowledge of data governance, cataloging, and metadata management.- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Good to have:- Cloud certifications- Experience with AI/ML data pipelines or MLOps integration.- Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or event-driven architecturesResponsibilities:- Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture strategies in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, or multi-cloud).- Architect data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.- Define and enforce data modeling standards (dimensional, NoSQL, normalized) across the organization.- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, scientists, and DevOps to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.- Design data ingestion pipelines (batch, stream) using modern ETL/ELT frameworks.- Ensure high levels of data quality, security, lineage, and governance.- Evaluate and recommend cloud-native services and tools based on evolving needs.- Create architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and reference implementations.- Drive data modernization efforts and lead legacy-to-cloud migration initiatives.- Stay up to date with emerging trends in cloud data platforms, AI/ML workloads, and data compliance regulations.
