As a WLAN Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated test frameworks to validate WLAN features, performance, and interoperability. Develop and maintain automation test scripts for WLAN functionality based on IEEE 802.Design and execute automated test cases for performance, regression, and stability testing. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution. Use tools like Wireshark, IxChariot, Spirent, Ekahau, and AirMagnet for network analysis and validation. Debug and troubleshoot wireless communication issues in embedded systems or mobile platforms (e.g., Android/Linux). Stay current with evolving WLAN technologies, standards, and regulatory compliance. 5–10 years of experience in WLAN testing and automation. ~ Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and automation frameworks (Pytest, Robot Framework, PyATS). ~ Strong understanding of wireless protocols and networking fundamentals. ~ Experience with Linux-based systems and embedded networking. ~ Familiarity with RF testing tools and wireless analyzers. ~ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
