What You'll Do:As part of our Expert Community, you can expect to be involved in a range of activities, including: Providing expert insights and strategic recommendations to clients on nuclear-related projects through consultation sessions Conducting research and analysis on various nuclear topics, including energy systems, market developments and technical challenges Collaborating with our team and clients to scope projects, develop research papers and present findings Engaging in iterative discussions to refine analysis and ensure research meets client requirements What We're Looking For:Ph D in nuclear engineering, physics, or related field (or Masters with significant nuclear industry experience)Proven experience within the nuclear industry Strong English communication skills (written and conversational) Research and analytical expertise with ability to synthesise complex technical informationClient-facing experience and professional communication skillsWhat We Offer: Opportunities to work on a range of projects, from smaller consultations paid at an hourly rate ($100-$250 per hour, depending on experience) to larger research projects with set fees ($10,000+)Preferential access to projects, with the flexibility to choose those that fit your schedule and expertiseFully remote – work from anywhereHigh-level industry networking opportunities with our clients, the Proxima team and wider Expert Community Professional Development in the rapidly growing commercial nuclear sector How It Works:We’ll contact you on a preferential basis about projects and consultations that match your expertise You’ll be expected to be contactable on a flexible basis to discuss potential projects and collaborations You’ll have the flexibility to accept or decline projects based on your availability and experience Application Process:Submit a CV for review Initial questionnaire Virtual interview to discuss your expertise and interests Please note that due to the scale of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every application.
