Role: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Work Timing: US Timing (7pm to 4am IST)

Must have experience with Financial / Banking Markets / Trading domain

Roles & Responsibilities:-

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specification documents for IT projects.
  • Conduct thorough business process analysis, identify gaps, and propose solutions that align with industry best practices and client objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, business requirement documents, functional specifications, use cases etc.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Effectively foster dialogue and communication between internal business customers, Technology Teams, and our application vendors.
  • Partner and engage with business customers to understand their challenges and to formulate the most optimal solutions for our plans to implement and resolve.
  • Be the bridging intermediary between Technology and Management Teams (Trading, crypto, blockchain)
  • Take ownership of configuration tuning, deployment, testing and post-deployment support.
  • Document new requirements, configure, and tune the application to the User's needs.
  • Engage in and facilitate User Acceptance Testing on workflows and resolve issues.
  • Maintain insight and build forward-looking plans to effectively write business, functional and technical requirements in the form of user stories under the Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Develop and effectively convey business, functional, and technical systems along with runbook and guiding supporting documentation.
  • Monitor production platforms for start of day readiness and general system health.
  • Convey clear business, functional and technical systems requirements accompanied with solution detail, diagrams and guiding supporting documentation.

Requirements: -

  • Proven track record working within agile development practices and managing product backlogs
  • The individual must have experience with Financial / Banking markets domain
  • Strong knowledge/experience working with financials systems and stakeholders (knowledge of things like crypto, blockchain, Equities, banking system)
  • Front/Middle/Back Office/Trading experience with any financial system
  • Strong understanding of Equities and Fixed Income – Market Securities Data, Order Generation and Trade Lifecycle processes.
  • Strong understanding of Compliance workflows and Rule Writing within Order Management Systems
  • Ability to write, update and execute SQL queries.
  • Strong understanding of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with process diagramming and project management tools.
