About this Position: GGC is looking for a highly motivated healthcare professional possessing a ‘will do attitude’ to manage company projects and work towards developing new collaborations and partnerships. The selected candidate will get an opportunity to work and contribute to a growing portfolio of GGC’s impactful work in various disciplines across the globe. In addition, the role would also be to interface GGC’s global/regional team members and external stakeholders, including consulting and IT partners, government agencies, private hospitals, development partners, etc. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Project Management and Execution Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement public health programs across multiple disciplines. Ensure programs meet technical, regulatory, and financial standards. Monitor project deliverables, timelines, and outcomes, providing regular updates to stakeholders. 2. Policy Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement Advocate for local, national, and international public health initiatives. Represent the organisation at conferences, meetings, and forums to showcase public health initiatives and outcomes. 3. Capacity Building Mentor and train internal teams to enhance their skills in public health program development, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement. 4. Monitoring and Evaluation Develop metrics to assess the impact and success of public health projects. Conduct post-project reviews and integrate lessons learned into future strategies. 5. Communication and Reporting Prepare progress reports, presentations, and communication materials for stakeholders. Ensure transparency and accountability in the use of funds and project implementation. 6. Strategic Planning and Partnership Development Conduct deep market research to identify emerging public health needs, funding opportunities, and innovative trends. Maintain database of prospective leads and continuously work on it to submit good proposals and track them to close. Develop comprehensive business strategies that align with global health priorities, such as universal health coverage, market access, HTA, climate change, health equity, and digital health innovation including AI driven solutions. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, donors, and private-sector partners. Facilitate collaborations with healthcare organisations, academic institutions, and technology partners to implement innovative public health solutions. 7. Proposal Development and Fundraising Write and oversee grant applications and funding proposals for public health initiatives across GGC territories. Identify funding opportunities from Development partners such as IFC, World Bank, ADB, EBRD, Kf W, etc., international donors (e.g., World Bank, WHO, USAID, Gates Foundation), and government and secure financial resources. Prepare budgets, feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for potential projects. Essential Skills and Qualifications 1. Education A master’s degree in public health (MPH), Business Administration, Health Policy, or a related field. Ph D would be preferred. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) will be desirable. 2. Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in public health project deliveries and business development. Proven success in securing funding and partnerships with international donors and agencies. A candidate with relevant experience globally across countries (GGC Territories) would be preferable. A candidate with publications in reputed journals would be desirable. 3. Core Skills Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a talent for storytelling and influence. Proficiency in leveraging technology and data analytics for program design and evaluation. Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse market trends and position the organisation for growth. Networking: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage diverse stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Expertise in data interpretation, impact assessment, and reporting. Ability to assess market trends and evaluate funding opportunities. Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple programs and teams simultaneously. Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to cultural, political, and social dynamics in public health. Proposal Writing : Expertise in developing compelling funding proposals. Project Management : Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion. Financial Acumen : Understanding of budgeting and financial planning for public health initiatives. Soft Skills Cultural competence and sensitivity in engaging with global and local stakeholders. Strategic mindset to align business goals with public health outcomes.
