What you'll be doing: • Should be proficient in Strategic Sourcing: Analyzing spend data, creating internal & external category profiles, Market intelligence reports, Opportunity assessments, devising category strategies, identifying sourcing levers for respective categories, analyzing costing for a product or service, conduct structured supplier negotiations, understand the nuances of contracting and executing the same with suppliers in co-ordination with legal teams, managing statutory compliances and sustainability requirements etc.

• Understand the requirements of internal (WPP Procurement) & external (Agencies) stakeholders and suggest an appropriate approach and time-based work-plan to achieve the objectives/deliverables.

• Day to day management of procurement activities, managing workloads and priorities, team management and escalating/reporting to leadership as necessary.

• Managing the collection of requests from stakeholders, communicating and documenting the progress MIS.

• Assist the building of processes to support strategic sourcing initiatives, spot buy purchases and tactical sourcing.

• Manage assigned engagements with suppliers to support wider Category teams across WPP Procurement • Analyze buying patterns, volumes to determine appropriate buying channel e.g., catalogue, Pcard, PO purchase, etc.

• Providing specialist administrative support from beginning to end of a tendering project/RFP ensuring the integrity of he process.

Experience working on reputed S2 C platforms shall be appreciated specifically GEP S2 C.

• Keeping an audit trail for each project and ensuring required documentation is in place.

• Providing a professional, efficient and effective response to stakeholder's queries Key shared accountabilities: • Project Management • Stakeholder Management • Supplier Management with business stakeholders • Reporting compliance • Delivering on excellent customer experience Key interfaces: Key External Relationships: •Suppliers •Professional and Industry Groups Key Internal Relationships: • Head Procurement Category Management • Business Stakeholders • Procurement Sourcing & Operations • Business Partners • Procurement Leadership Key Metrics & Targets: • Service Level Agreement (SLA) on building RFPs • SLAs on turnaround time for Spot buys • Cost savings/avoidance during sourcing • Contribution to cost reduction targets and avoidance What you’ll need: • Proficient in Strategic Sourcing and procurement methodology and processes • Demonstrated ability to analyse and provide insights on spend categories & supply markets basis internal & external category profiles.

• Strong procurement operational skills, legal understanding and RFI/P leadership • Capable of leading and being part of matrixed team in a project environment • Good negotiation and influencing skills • Effective project management skills and knowledge of project management systems At WPP, we are an equal opportunities employer.
