Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience in real-money gaming or casual gaming companies. As a Data Analyst at Circle of Games, you will play a key role in analyzing, interpreting, and optimizing our gaming data. Your insights will drive our game design, player engagement, monetization strategies, and overall growth within the Web3 gaming landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze gameplay data, user behavior, and in-game economy trends to provide actionable insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track game performance, player engagement, and retention.
Collaborate with product managers, game designers, and developers to optimize game design and user experience based on data-driven insights.
Support marketing and community engagement teams by analyzing user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies.
Conduct deep dives into data to identify patterns, player preferences, and areas for improvement in monetization and user retention.
Create predictive models and forecasts to improve decision-making across the organization.
Work closely with blockchain developers to analyze Web3-related gaming data, such as tokenomics, user wallet activity, and blockchain transactions.
Monitor KPIs, player trends, and provide recommendations for improving player satisfaction and revenue.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the real-money gaming or casual gaming industry.
Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and Excel.
Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
Hands-on experience in working with large datasets, A/B testing, and data mining techniques.
Familiarity with gaming KPIs such as player lifetime value (LTV), churn rates, ARPDAU, and engagement metrics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
Familiarity with blockchain and Web3 technologies is a strong plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiar with Moengage/Clever Tap or any event based user funnel data tracking platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in analyzing tokenized economies or in-game currencies in Web3 or blockchain-based games.
Knowledge of real-time data processing tools and techniques.
Previous experience in working with cross-functional teams in a gaming environment.
