Job Title: Proposal Engineer – Water Treatment Location: Department: Projects and Proposals Jalamrut is a fast-growing water solutions company delivering cutting-edge water and wastewater treatment systems. With a focus on sustainability and engineering excellence, we provide end-to-end EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solutions that help industries and municipalities meet the toughest water challenges. The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects. This role requires close coordination with engineering, procurement, and project teams to develop cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements and drive business growth. Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for EPC water treatment projects (RO, DM, Softener, ETP, STP, ZLD, etc.). Cost Estimation: Develop accurate cost estimates covering equipment, materials, and services in collaboration with procurement and engineering teams. Review client specifications, tender documents, BOQ and RFPs to ensure compliance and identify risks or deviations. Work with process and design engineers to create preliminary process flow diagrams (PFDs), layouts, and equipment selections. Vendor Management: Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers/subcontractors to optimize technical solutions and pricing. Market Intelligence: Tender Intelligence: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, (or related field). ~2–3 years of experience in proposals, estimation, or design for water/wastewater treatment EPC projects. ~ Strong understanding of water treatment technologies (RO, UF, MBR, ETP, STP, ZLD). ~ Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and proposal management tools. ~ Experience with municipal and industrial water treatment projects.
