Job Title: Senior Manager – Production (Solar Module Manufacturing)
Location: Bangalore, India.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Production to join our dynamic team and lead our production operations.
About the Role: As the Senior Manager of Production, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production processes of our solar modules. With a robust background of 15+ years in production management within the solar or a related industry, you will leverage your expertise to ensure efficient operations, meet production targets, and uphold the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to ensure timely and cost-effective production of solar modules.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all production activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including manpower, materials, and machinery, to achieve production goals.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the production budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and other departments to align production processes with company objectives and customer requirements.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including metrics, issues, and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications related to manufacturing or production management are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in production management, preferably within the solar module manufacturing industry or a closely related sector.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing production operations. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to solar module manufacturing.
