PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES


Position Title : Team Lead Digital Email Production

Department : Victoria’s Secret Stores – Marketing Strategy

Location : Bengaluru

PURPOSE/GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Email Marketing (Deployment / Production) Lead supports Victoria’s Secret & Co.’s Domestic and International email marketing teams on creating & coding daily email marketing emails. The Team Lead will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating multiple campaigns at a single time that span across multiple business days, while aligning the team to achieve our marketing goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise the prebuild creation for daily marketing emails according to campaign instructions delivered by the Domestic email marketing team

Supervise the import of encrypted data files from FTP server and converting them into data extensions, as per daily campaign instructions

Coordinate production of daily marketing emails for the International team as per campaign instructions. Activities include slicing creative files, uploading assets into a CMS, building emails using HTML, and validating work.

Ensure deployment schedules are created in Automation studio according to daily campaign instructions

Ensure deployment details are created and delivered for International and Domestic marketing teams, to validate work

Ensure the team can identify and understand the differences between International and Domestic campaign processes

Ensure the team can Identify and understand the differences between International and Domestic email templates

Enforce adherence to asset deadlines

Optimize communication channels for quick check on building progress through shared campaign tracking documents

Drive team readiness to perform ad-hoc campaign set-up when requested

Ensure team can identify, monitoring and explain variances to expected outcomes. Suggest improvements and coach as needed

Drive process improvements and encourage the team to identify opportunities.

Establishing and enforcing quality control policies and procedures

  • Troubleshooting and providing on-going technical and soft skills coaching
  • Responsible for driving our overall culture and team engagement; inclusive of explaining the why’s behind decisions made
  • Responsible for identifying continuous improvement opportunities in everything we do
  • Inspire and motivate teams to generate world class customer experience
  • Responsible for bringing forward trend information on email marketing campaigns, performance and pain points; completely taking ownership and end-to-end process responsibility.

Team management

  • Supervise a team of 6-10 team members
  • Develop team through in the moment and formal coaching and feedback
  • Lead, coach and motivate team to meet all behavior expectations

Cross Functional Support/ Relationship Building

  • Builds and sustains relationships across the organization
  • Developing leadership skills
  • Exercise clear communication with various email marketing partners, including direct reports, managers, leaders and peers

  • Own hiring/onboarding process for new email marketing production associates

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Qualification & Job Experience)


Education & Skills :

Deep understanding of email marketing landscape and familiarity with email protocols

HTML/ CSS/ SQL Experience and firm understanding of data file types

Basic AmpScript knowledge is a plus

Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Movable Ink is a plus

Proficient with Windows-based PC environment (Excel, Word, PPT, and TEAMS)

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Excellent verbal and written communications experience

Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and welcome change as it is presented

Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience


Work Experience :

6-8 years of relevant experience with minimum 2 - 3 years supervisory role in email marketing/digital marketing positions, with a proven track record in successful development and execution of email marketing campaigns

Retail/Fashion marketing a plus
