Assessment design and verification specialist

We are building a Digital Saa S product for candidate recruitment , where talent assessment is a critical component. The assessments involve technical evaluations, requiring precision and scientific rigor to ensure accuracy and fairness in candidate evaluation. We are looking for an Assessment Design and Verification Specialist to take ownership of designing candidate assessments, developing grading mechanisms, and ensuring the scientific validity of our evaluation methods. This role is critical to the success of our product, providing the scientific backing and reporting needed to validate the results of our assessments.

Key Responsibilities
Assessment Design and Development
Design, develop, and implement robust candidate assessments that align with the goals of the Candidate 360 evaluation product. Develop scientifically backed evaluation frameworks to assess multiple dimensions of candidate performance, including technical skills, behavioral competencies, and cognitive abilities. Ensure the assessments are tailored to various job roles and industries, with relevance to real-world scenarios and practical tasks.
Grading Mechanisms and Evaluation Metrics
Create comprehensive grading rubrics and scoring mechanisms that accurately reflect candidate performance. Define objective performance metrics and scoring guidelines to ensure fair and consistent evaluation. Integrate automated and manual grading processes to maintain balance between accuracy and scalability.
Verification and Validation
Lead the verification of assessment tools and grading methodologies, ensuring they meet scientific standards and are validated against performance benchmarks. Conduct regular reviews of assessments for bias, validity, and reliability, refining the tools based on feedback and performance data. Use psychometric principles to ensure that assessments are reliable, valid, and predictive of future job performance.
Reporting and Scientific Backing
Develop detailed reports on the results of candidate assessments, providing insights into strengths, weaknesses, and overall performance. Ensure all reports are backed by scientific methodologies, explaining the rationale behind the evaluation criteria. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to present findings and continuously improve the evaluation framework.
Research and Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on the latest trends and research in assessment design, psychometrics, and evaluation methodologies. Lead research initiatives to improve and innovate the assessment process, introducing new methods and tools that enhance the evaluation experience. Implement continuous feedback loops from users and candidates to refine and improve the assessments over time.
Qualifications
Education: Masters or Phd in organizational Psychology or related Fields.
Experience: Experience in Assessment Design, Psychometrics, or Evaluation Methodologies including personality assessments such as DISC Analysis, Big 5 Analysis, Psychometric evaluation, Technical skill evaluation, Situational and behavioral Interview for soft skills and cultural fit.
