Job Title: General Manager / AVP – Core Finance OperationsLocation: Bangalore or HyderabadAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced finance leader to manage and scale core finance operations in a third-party provider environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across taxation, treasury, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and compliance, combined with strong client-facing experience from BPM organizations.Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end finance operations including Taxation, Treasury, AP, AR, and Compliance.- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with business objectives.- Ensure statutory compliance and regulatory adherence across all processes.- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations effectively.- Implement robust internal controls and risk management practices.- Partner with leadership on strategic financial decisions and cost optimization initiatives.- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new business initiatives and RFP-driven projects (e.g., MTI, Lightsource).Required Skills & Qualifications- Education: CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.- Experience: 12–15 years of core finance experience in a third-party provider environment.- Strong knowledge of taxation, treasury, AP, AR, compliance, and financial reporting.- Proven ability to manage large-scale finance operations and lead teams.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.Preferred Attributes- Resumes from BPM companies with client-facing experience will be the best fit.- Experience in setting up finance processes for new projects or business units.- Exposure to global finance operations and multi-location teams.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
