Innodraft is an engineering and design consultancy firm specializing in solar power plant design and drafting. Our clients are based in the USA, and we aim to maintain workflow continuity by leveraging the time difference between Canada and India to ensure round-the-clock operations.
Position Overview:
We are looking for skilled Drafters in India to support our solar design projects. The candidate will work closely with our North American team, ensuring a seamless transition of tasks to maintain uninterrupted project progress. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between time zones, allowing consistent and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed drawings and layouts for solar power systems using Auto CAD and related software.
Collaborate with the design team to develop interconnection and permitting drawings.
Review and refine designs to meet client specifications and standards.
Work with simulation software such as PVsyst and Aurora to generate performance models.
Communicate with the Canadian team to ensure smooth handover of tasks at the end of their workday.
Ensure adherence to NEC codes and other relevant standards for North American projects.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
0 to 1 years of experience in solar drafting and solar design.
Proficiency in Auto CAD; experience with PVCase and Pvsyst is a plus.
Familiarity with NEC codes and North American solar standards is preferred.
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively across time zones.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
