Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling Areas) Location: Pune, India Experience: 10-15 years Department: IT/Finance Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with in-depth expertise in SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) modules and a strong background in SAP S/4HANA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing, designing, and delivering high-quality SAP FICO solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of both the SAP FICO functionality and the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA to drive innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for Finance and Controlling processes. Lead workshops and discussions to identify opportunities for process optimization using SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA. Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions in SAP S/4HANA to ensure business alignment. Integrate business processes with the new functionalities and capabilities offered by SAP S/4HANA Finance (e.g., Universal Journal, new GL, Fiori applications). Customize SAP FICO modules (FI, CO, AP, AR, AA, PCA, CCA) based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Project Management & Implementation: Oversee end-to-end implementation of SAP FICO and S/4HANA projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives. Manage testing phases (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) and resolve defects promptly. Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HR, etc.) and non-SAP systems. Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project alignment. Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders and guide them on leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities in their financial operations. Support & Optimization: Provide ongoing support for SAP FICO post-implementation, optimizing system performance, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Manage periodic audits and enhancements of SAP S/4HANA Finance to maximize system efficiency. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and training materials. Develop and present reports to senior management regarding project progress, challenges, and opportunities. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Charted accountants are preferred 10-15 years of experience in SAP FICO with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules. In-depth experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) , including Universal Journal , New GL , Fiori , and Group Reporting . Hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP FICO solutions, including integration with other modules such as MM, SD, and HR. Strong understanding of financial accounting, cost accounting, and reporting processes in SAP. Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA projects from concept to completion. Ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient SAP S/4HANA solutions. Preferred Skills: SAP S/4HANA Certification in Finance (FI) or Controlling (CO) modules. Experience with the latest SAP Fiori interfaces and SAP S/4HANA Fiori Apps. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Migration strategies and tools (e.g., SUM, DMO). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for SAP project delivery. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
