Role Description

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer with a strong background in designing for both web and Android-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience crafting user-friendly e-commerce interfaces and Android POS systems, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive, seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and revamp user interfaces for our e-commerce website and Android-based POS devices, ensuring cohesive and user-friendly designs across both platforms.
  • Conduct user research, define personas, and map user journeys to inform design decisions for both web and mobile.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for responsive web and Android mobile experiences using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
  • Conduct usability tests on both web and Android platforms, gather feedback, and iterate designs based on insights.
  • Keep up-to-date with UI/UX trends, specifically in e-commerce and POS design, and apply best practices for a high-traffic, multi-platform environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in UI/UX design for both web and Android platforms, ideally within e-commerce or retail environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and Android mobile designs.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
  • Solid experience in user research and usability testing, including for high-traffic websites.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with Material Design guidelines for Android and responsive web design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to ensure effective implementation.
  • Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) for understanding user behavior across platforms.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for both mobile and web interfaces.
