Job Description-
As a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Manual Testing, you will be pivotal in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Shipsy’s technology solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, document, and track defects, as well as suggest improvements that align with Shipsy’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing on Shipsy’s SaaS platform, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance across different devices and browsers.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools, ensuring resolution and quality assurance.
- Conduct regression testing, ensuring bug fixes and enhancements do not affect existing features.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and defect tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing, ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools like Jira or TestRail.
- Proficiency in regression, usability, and performance testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
