You will work to design, develop, and maintain automatedtest suites for our web and mobile applications. You’ll work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed.Benefits100% Remote.Working with international teams in a remote environment.End-of-year complimentary time off. It's rare for us to work on weekends/holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, implement, and maintain automated tests usingCypressfor end-to-end UI testing.Develop and extend test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing.Configure and schedule nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub ActionsAnalyse test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.Write clear, maintainable, and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability.Mentor junior QA engineers on automation tools and techniques.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.Proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.Experience building and maintaining test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Jest).Familiarity with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, artifacts, and test plans.Working knowledge of AWS: provisioning, IAM, and basic troubleshooting.Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).Design and implement mobile-automation scriptsKnowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Application Insights, CloudWatch, Datadog).Certification in ISTQB, AWS, or Azure DevOps.Our approach to Flexible WorkingAt stackway, we value and respect differences.
