Position Objective

We are looking for an experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in web development to drive the design, development, and deployment of intelligent applications. The ideal candidate will lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor teams, and integrate AI models into scalable web platforms. As a Lead Engineer, you will play an important role in system architecture, design, development and ensuring the products meet high quality standards and guiding other development team members.

Responsibilities (KRAs / deliverables / job expectations)

• Lead the development and integration of AI/ML models into web applications.
• Architect and optimize AI-driven web solutions using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn etc.
• Oversee the deployment of AI models using cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI strategies and implementation.
• Guide the development of scalable web applications using Angular, C#, NestJS etc.
• Ensure efficient data processing and model deployment in production environments.
• Optimize AI models for performance, accuracy, and scalability .
• Stay updated with the latest AI/ML trends and web development technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.

Critical Success factors (critical / high impact aspects of role)

• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks .
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and web development frameworks .
• Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud computing, and database management .
• Familiarity with MLOps tools for automating machine learning workflows.
• Understanding of frontend and backend development for AI-powered applications.
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize AI models for production.

Academic qualification

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related fields.

Experience (exposure)

• 10+ years of overall Software development experience and 6+ years of experience in AI/ML software development.

• Experience in AI-driven web applications, edge devices and cloud-based AI services .
• Experience in the healthcare industry and RTLS is desirable.
