Role Description

This is a full-time Remote role for an AWS Data Modeler at FLYONIT located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Data Modeler will be responsible for data governance, data modeling, data quality, data architecture, and ETL processes. The role involves working closely with the IT team to design and implement effective data solutions to meet business needs.


Qualifications

  • Data Governance, Data Modeling, and Data Quality skills
  • Data Architecture and ETL (Extract Transform Load) skills
  • Experience in database management and optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Responsibilities:  


  • Design and implement data models to support analytics and business intelligence needs. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into models. 
  • Create ER diagrams and conceptual, logical, and physical data models. 
  • Optimize database performance and scalability. 
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance. 
  • Work closely with data engineers to implement and test models. 


Requirements:  


  • 6+ years of experience in data modeling or related roles. 
  • Expertise in relational and dimensional modeling techniques. 
  • Proficiency in AWS services like Redshift, Glue, and DynamoDB. 
  • Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Power Designer). 
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database design principles. 
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
