We are looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer with both strong visual design skills and hands-on experience implementing UI inside Unreal Engine. You will be responsible for designing intuitive user interfaces, creating clean and engaging UX flows, and building interactive UI using UMG and Blueprints. Key Responsibilities: Design high-quality UI layouts, HUDs, menus, and interaction flows that support gameplay and player experience goals. Create UI wireframes, prototypes, and style guides using tools such as Figma, Photoshop, or Illustrator. Implement UI designs within Unreal Engine using UMG, Widget Blueprints, and UI animation tools. Work with designers and programmers to integrate UI features, ensuring functionality, clarity, and consistency. Optimize UI performance, DPI scaling, resolution handling, and responsiveness across platforms. Develop clean, organized UI assets (iconography, frames, panels, typography) following the art direction. Contribute to UX research, playtesting, and iteration to improve usability and player clarity. Document UI workflows, UI systems, and best practices for cross-team alignment. Participate in sprint planning and collaborate within an agile development process. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, Game Design, or a related field. Professional or project-based experience in UI/UX design for games or interactive applications. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in visual design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent). Hands-on experience implementing UI in Unreal Engine using UMG and Blueprint scripting. Understanding of UI layout systems, hierarchy, anchors, animation, and responsive design principles. Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation. Familiarity with UX principles such as usability, readability, player feedback, and user flow. Knowledge of game development pipelines and asset integration. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines. Excellent visual sense, typography skills, and attention to detail. Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and playtest results. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience animating UI elements such as transitions, hover states, and visual feedback. Familiarity with motion graphics, After Effects, or Spine. Understanding of accessibility principles for UI/UX in games. Experience designing UI for action-adventure or combat-focused titles.
