We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mendix Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Mendix Lead Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying applications using the Mendix low-code platform. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the business while ensuring best practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Mendix-based applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
Provide technical leadership to the development team, offering guidance, mentorship, and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Mendix app designs.
Perform hands-on development using Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro to build web and mobile applications.
Ensure that the applications follow Mendix best practices and design principles, including security, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with other developers and teams in an agile environment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of features and fixes.
Define and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, user stories, and implementation details.
Support the deployment, maintenance, and post-launch activities of applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
Stay up-to-date with new Mendix platform features, integrations, and industry trends to continually improve development processes and application quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development with at least 5+ years working specifically with Mendix.
Strong knowledge of the Mendix platform, including Mendix Studio Pro, Modeler, and various Mendix modules.
Familiarity with Mendix's advanced capabilities like microflows, Java actions, integration with external systems, and deployment to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
Knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., databases, web services, APIs) and integration techniques (REST, SOAP).
