Key Responsibilities:
Build, Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Build & launch products that scale well effectively and contribute to product development
Build Scalable architecture to handle 10 X messages that we handle today.
Build an AI team to build features of the future based on data analytics and Gen AI
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to launch new products and features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
Oversee engineering projects, ensuring that deadlines, quality standards, and resource allocation are effectively managed for both existing and new products.
Build and scale engineering teams, establishing structures, processes, and best practices to support the growth of the organization.
Ensure that the engineering team follows best practices, including code quality, system reliability, and scalability, with a focus on supporting real-time messaging.
Implement agile methodologies, ensuring efficient sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous delivery.
Provide career growth and development opportunities for team members, including creating clear paths for professional advancement.
Monitor and report on engineering KPIs, team performance, and project progress to ensure continuous alignment with company goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams, preferably in a Saa S or messaging-driven environment.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint management, and engineering best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and align stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in building scalable messaging systems, with a deep understanding of system architecture and design.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud infrastructure, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with technologies relevant to Ai Sensy (e.g., MERN, AWS stack).
Strong focus on innovation, problem-solving, and team culture building.
Experience in building and scalable solutions or handling high-volume real-time communications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
