Role : Head-Accounts & TaxationLocation : Borivali EastExperience : 5 to 10 Years ( Real Estate Sector)Qualification : CAJob Description :The Head of Accounts & Taxation will be responsible for overseeing the companysentire Accounts, Finance, and Taxation functions. This role requires strongleadership, in-depth knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to implement efficientfinancial practices aligned with business goals.Key Responsibilities :- Lead and manage the Accounts & Taxation team ensuring accuracy,compliance, and timeliness.- Oversee accounting operations including finalization of accounts, MISreporting, and statutory compliance.- Ensure compliance with all Direct and Indirect tax laws, including IncomeTax, GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations.- Handle tax assessments, audits, and liaise with regulatory authorities.- Formulate tax-efficient strategies while ensuring full compliance.- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.- Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.- Support management with financial analysis, decision-making, and strategicplanning.- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and externalconsultants.- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within accounts andtaxation functions.Key Skills Required- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Direct & Indirect Taxation(Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.)- Expertise in tax planning, assessments, and regulatory compliance- Proven experience in finalization of accounts, MIS, and audits- Leadership & team management skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
