About the role
We are seeking a Java Back-End Engineer to join our team at keeplearningOS. As a Java Back-End Engineer, you will be a key player in shaping the technical foundation of our products. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality server-side applications. Your role will involve designing robust architectures, implementing efficient APIs, and ensuring that our systems are scalable and reliable. You will contribute to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, playing an integral part in the growth and success of keeplearningOS.
Location
Location: Electronic-City, Bangalore.
Detailed roles and responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance server-side applications using Java
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various web and mobile applications.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering
Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, and implement optimizations and enhancements as needed.
The profile of an ideal candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (4+years) in software engineering, with a track record of building and delivering scalable, high quality software solutions
Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Entrepreneurial  mindset,  with  a  passion  for  technology,  innovation,  and  building successful products in a start-up environment.
Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
