JOB OVERVIEW -
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing development team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills, experience in software development, and a passion for solving complex technical problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions and contribute to the overall success of the company.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES-
- Actively contribute to the development of products based on specified requirements.
- Implement features and functionality that enhance the overall user experience and product performance.
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and function as expected.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to continuously improve product quality.
- Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews to optimize products and resolve challenges
- Provide timely and accurate updates on project progress, including any obstacles or delays encountered.
- Communicate milestones, achievements, and setbacks clearly to relevant stakeholders
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that follows best practices and coding standards.
- Regularly refactor and optimize code to improve performance and maintainability.
- Ensure the code is thoroughly tested and debugged to minimize errors and issues in production
SKILLS REQUIRED -
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Adaptability to new technologies and continuous learning.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience in integrating and consuming REST APIs, handling authentication, and error handling.
• Strong understanding of PHP and the principles of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js preferred).
• Proficiency in MySQL with experience in writing optimized queries.
• Solid understanding of database design and normalization.
• Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Proficient in using Git for version control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
⭐ ABOUT YOU -
- Proven software development experience in core and custom PHP and experience in OOP.
- At Least 3 years of strong experience of PHP MVC Laravel framework.
- At Least 2 years of Nodejs experience is a must.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Reactjs applications.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery is mandatory.
- You're curious about new technologies and Artificial Intelligence and you are driven to find ways to implement them in your work.
- You have a big appetite to learn and improve your technical skills.
- You are analytical, and you have a keen eye for detail.
- You have great problem-solving skills, and you work well in a team.
- You have knowledge of the entire web development process.
- Excited to use and explore new generative AI tools for software engineering tasks on a day-to-day basis.
EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
