Job Title: PHP Developer (Code Igniter / Laravel)
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing web applications using Code Igniter and/or Laravel frameworks. You should be proficient in Java Script and CSS, with a solid understanding of My SQL and AWS. You will work on building robust APIs and microservices, contributing to the development of event-driven architectures, and implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP frameworks such as Code Igniter and Laravel.
Collaborate with designers and other developers to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Java Script (j Query or other libraries).
Design and manage My SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end functionality.
Implement event-driven architectures and contribute to system design discussions.
Write automated tests using TDD methodologies (e.g., PHPUnit) to ensure code quality and reliability.
Deploy applications on AWS and leverage cloud services to enhance application performance and scalability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into development processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a PHP Developer with hands-on experience in Code Igniter and/or Laravel frameworks.
Strong proficiency in Java Script (j Query or other libraries) and CSS.
Experience with My SQL database design and management.
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment practices.
Understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of event-driven programming and experience with TDD practices (e.g., PHPUnit).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
