Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in Planning, Construction of the Failure Analysis Lab in Dholera
- Assist in Procurement of the FA Lab toolset such as Emission microscope, OBIRCH/EBIRCH, LSM, LCA, CAD/NAV FIB, Bench Tester with docking stations, Package decap and sample prep tools
- Hire Engineers, Technicians, Operators and establish Training procedures
- Communicate and assess FA Wafer/package level and Product FA support needs and serve as primary interface with Fab yield enginers, Test engineers and Customers for FA needs
- Establish Sample preparation and wet chemical Lab
- Primary interface for Vendor communication for Equipment support, Uptime and Operation for the FA Lab
- Supervise a diverse team of highly skilled PhD level Engineers to Shift Operators for the Lab.

Qualifications:
- M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Wafer and Product Level Failure Analysis toolset
- Understanding of Electrical FA toolset such as Test bench, EMMI, CSAM, LSM, LCA, CAD/NAV etc
- Understand of Semiconductor CMOS Fab processes from an Analytical lab support perspective
- Proven track record in Managing a Semiconductor FA
- Some understanding of Test program optimization and/or writing test program is useful
- Experience in managing large and diverse teams.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve project completion within timeline and cost targets
- Ability to work across different cultures and geographies
- Good team player

Desired Experience Level:
10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry
Proven track record of managing Analytical Lab to support Semiconductor manufacturing
Proven experience in managing large teams
