Lead AWS engineer

The Senior Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of all front-end integrations and 3rd parties to enhance the customer experience. The developer will also identify opportunities for improving the performance and scalability of applications in a fast-paced, global fashion retail environment. As a Lead Engineer, you will: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of both front-end and back-end components for complex multi-channel customer experience projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive integration and functionality across the stack. Support project timelines by identifying and mitigating risks and resolving technical bottlenecks. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for performance optimization and efficiency across the entire application. Utilize data-driven insights to inform architectural and design decisions, demonstrating the impact of full-stack development. Must-Have Experience: Typescript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js Strong hands-on experience within enterprise-level applications. Understanding of release management on a monolithic product. Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global or omnichannel context. Experience with RESTful API design, development, integration and asynchronous request handling. Experience using GraphQL APIs alongside REST. Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. Experience working with commerce platforms such as SAP Hybris, Commerce Cloud, Salesforce including customizations and integrations. Experience of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Being flexible and open to new ideas, technologies, and methodologies. Time Management : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field. Proven track record of collaborating cross-functional technology teams in front-end development or customer experience projects.
