The role ensures cost-effective, efficient, and customer-centric logistics processes that align with the organization’s business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the transportation of frozen and chilled goods nationallyIdentify and implement cost-saving opportunities in the cold chain logisticsEnsure compliance with temperature control and other regulatory requirementIdentify, negotiate, and manage third-party logistics (3PL) partners.Drive productivity and efficiency parameters for TRAILER transportation from factories to portsMonitor and improve transportation efficiency across the networkDevelop and implement strategies to enhance freight and transportation efficiencyBuild and implement processes for primary and secondary transportation for domestic movements for the frozen, chilled and dry movementDevelop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transportation activities.Monitor vehicle performance and implement strategies to optimize utilizationBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing logistics team.
