Postpal is an innovative peer-to-peer shipping app that revolutionizes the way people send packages by connecting senders or shippers with individuals traveling to their destinations. Our platform provides a convenient and cost-effective solution for shipping items, making it easier for individuals to get their packages delivered safely and efficiently.
We are currently seeking talented Software Developers with experience in Flutter/Dart development and Firebase to join our dynamic team. As a Software Developer at Postpal, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our mobile application, enabling seamless communication and transactions between senders and travelers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain the Postpal mobile application using Flutter and Dart.
- Implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that facilitate the shipment process and ensure a smooth user experience.
- Integrate Firebase services, such as real-time database, authentication, and cloud storage, to enhance the functionality and reliability of the application.
- Implement state management techniques, including Provider and Bloc, to efficiently manage app state and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and design concepts into functional features.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs within the application.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the app's performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Flutter application development.
- Strong proficiency in Flutter framework, Dart programming language, and related libraries.
- Experience with Firebase services, including real-time database, authentication, and cloud storage.
- Knowledge of state management techniques, such as Provider and Bloc, for efficient app development.
- Understanding of mobile app development best practices, including performance optimization and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Located in or around Kolkata, India is a plus.
