Our technology solution enables geologists and geophysicists to efficiently research, visualize, and interpret large volumes of geological data.You'll be joining a senior, supportive, and friendly team, committed to delivering high-quality solutions in the industry.ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.Provide an objective assessment of Product QualityContribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product storiesDevelop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance CriteriaWrite comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionalityContribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizingWork with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User WorkflowsDefine, create and maintain Test environmentsValidate Functionality according to Requirements/StoriesVerify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of FunctionalityIdentify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashionTrack Bugs through resolution and implementationVerify Bugs are resolved according to Bug DefinitionSkillsMust have· Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.5 and above· Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)· Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoringWell completions – completion designs, well performance analysis,· Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.· Comfortable with Agile methodologies· Excellent Communication SkillsNice to haveExperience with web applications test automation, API testing, Performance testing, Azure\AWS cloud servicesQA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred)Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional)Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA)Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.
