The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data infrastructure and data products in complex enterprise environments. This is a senior-level role, typically suited for professionals who have served as technical leads on large-scale or multiple mid-sized data projects.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of robust data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services such as Glue, Athena, and Spark.- Architect and implement scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.- Optimize performance of data systems and troubleshoot issues in production environments.- Document data architecture, workflows, and processes for internal and external stakeholders.- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to best practices and standards.Technical Skills Required:-- Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, etc.)- Big Data Technologies: Proficiency in Apache Spark, Databricks, and distributed data processing.- Databases: Experience with at least one RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).- Data Modeling: Expertise in 3NF (Third Normal Form) and Dimensional Data Modeling.- Programming Languages: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala.- Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or similar tools is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:-- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty) are a strong advantage.- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira or Confluence.
