Responsibilities:

Website Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites primarily using WordPress and Wix platforms.
  • Customize themes and templates to align with client requirements.

Plugin and Feature Integration:

  • Install, configure, and optimize WordPress plugins and Wix apps.
  • Develop or customize plugins where necessary to add functionality.

Website Design:

  • Work with designers (or independently) to ensure websites meet branding and UX/UI guidelines.
  • Create visually appealing layouts with a mobile-first approach.

Website Performance & SEO Optimization:

  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
  • Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting to ensure website functionality.

Client Collaboration:

  • Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide training to clients on using and managing their WordPress or Wix websites.

Maintenance and Updates:

  • Perform regular updates to WordPress and Wix sites, including CMS updates, plugin updates, and security patches.
  • Address bugs, implement fixes, and ensure uptime.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress (including custom theme/plugin development) and Wix website building.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
  • Experience with page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery (WordPress).

Design Skills:

  • Familiarity with design principles and tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Canva.
  • Ability to translate designs into fully functional websites.

Optimization and Analytics:

  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and basic tracking setup.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce or Wix Stores.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design or content editing.
