Echocardiography technicians are involved in creating images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels to assess heart function and diagnose heart ailments.
You will be responsible for interviewing the patients and reviewing their medical records so that you may adapt your sonographic techniques as necessity dictates.
To have a career as a cardiac echo technician, you will be required to learn cardiac terminology to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
You will also have to learn how to work and operate the cardiac equipment commonly used in hospitals and medical centres. Completeness of study acquisition adhering to the specified protocol - For both Adult and Pediatric patients
● Responsible for the quality acquisition of the study
● Training the physicians on the quality acquisition of studies
● Training on analyzing tools like Tricog viewer and case upload
● Work closely with cardiologists/in-house reporting doctors evaluating the findings and continuously improving the quality of the studies
● Analyzing and reporting the echo studies
● Creating and delivering the reports to the patient/ hospital authorities
● Responsible for creating the annotations required for AI algorithm training
● 2-5 years of working experience as an Echocardiographer
Educational Qualification: B.Sc Cardiac Technology / Diploma in Cardiac Technology
