DEPUTY MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER – SME: ENGLISH Reports to: Senior Manager – Publishing
upto 7.5 LPA
Job responsibilities:
 Work with Senior Manager of publishing and multiple Deputy Managers and Assistant Managers in managing the
publishing plan for the department.
 Manage the products and publishing portfolio for English.
 Responsible for product strategy for English in response to market needs.
 Work with Senior Manager – Publishing and effectively deliver the best quality print and/or digital product(s) within
the agreed timeline.
 Design and deliver great user experiences: Manage, monitor, and improve the user experience for digital content and
product(s).
 Support AGM – Digital Initiatives in creating short pedagogical videos/instructions in English regularly to help
teachers in school.
 Collaborate and work with DGM – Assessments and Curriculum Support and AGM – School Support to support the
schools with required training, additional support material, and assessments for English subjects.
 Plan, develop, prioritise, implement, and oversee the processes ensuring that products/solutions are published /
released within set deadlines, as per scope, according to budget and are of the highest quality.
Key Performance Indicators:
 Publishing work delivered within agreed timelines
 More than 90% of subject-based trainings conducted as per plan
 More than 90% participants report highest rating in the feedback form
 Zero major conceptual or factual error in question papers designed for students
Requirements:
 Desirable to have a master's degree in English.
 A mix of language proficiency (verbal and written), deep pedagogical understanding, subject specialization, and business
acumen.
