Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Design, development, and optimization of complex VC models across SAP.Drive strategic initiatives to enhance scalability, performance, and reuse within the SAP VC ecosystemReview configuration models built by other team members and provide expert feedbackSupport SAP VC integration with SD, MM, PP, and other relevant SAP modulesMonitor and adopt emerging SAP VC innovations and best practices to enhance internal capabilitiesDesign Variant Functions where applicableDesign IDOC based interfacesWork with RFC and BAPI WrappersWeb Services integration designQualificationsTechnical Skills Required:Hands-on VC model building experience within a complex manufacturing environment- 5~7 yrs.A technical professional with 2+ full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementations.SAP ECC 6.0 VC knowledge and experience.Thorough understanding of all aspects of a variant configuration product model including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, ALE, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets with constraints, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, complex super bills of material and routes and work centers.ABAP experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments, with solid understanding of system architectureEager to learn new technologiesIntegration knowledge with SAP modules and non-SAP applicationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferredStrong Excel skills and desire to learn and incorporate AI workflowsLeadership & Strategic Skills:Proven ability to lead development initiatives and provide inputs to key stakeholdersExperience mentoring and supervising junior developers or technologistsExcellent analytical, architectural, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teamsAbility to operate independently and manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneouslyPreferred (Not Required):Experience with SAP IPC or AVC including relevant certificationFamiliarity with SAP Product Configuration Lifecycle Management (PCLM)Familiarity with SFDC (ideally with Sales Cloud or CPQ) or Logik.ai toolExposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps workflowsAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
