Clinical Data Analyst Location:  Chennai / Remote (India) Company:  OPOS Solutions (US-based Healthcare Technology Company) Employment Type:  Full-time Domain:  Healthcare Data Analytics / EHR / PHI / PMI About Us OPOS Solutions is a US-based healthcare technology provider specializing in clinical data workflows, compliance intelligence, practice reporting, and interoperability. We work with sensitive EHR, PHI, PMI and clinical operational datasets , supporting medical practices with insights, automation, and regulatory reporting. Role Overview We are seeking a Clinical Data Analyst  who can manage, interpret, and validate healthcare data across multiple systems including EHR data, practice management data, patient demographics, appointments, PDMP, compliance datasets , and operational clinical metrics. The ideal candidate should be skilled in working with healthcare datasets stored across MySQL, MongoDB, Google Sheets/Drive , and other structured/unstructured sources while ensuring strict data privacy and HIPAA-aligned handling. Key Responsibilities ✅ Extract, clean, transform, and validate clinical and practice datasets from: MySQL patient and clinical records MongoDB appointment and operational data Google Sheets / cloud documents / CSVs ✅ Create dashboards and reports for: compliance tracking PDMP monitoring clinical quality and performance indicators provider productivity and scheduling analytics patient attribution and engagement metrics ✅ Perform data audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and PHI integrity ✅ Work with internal teams to support: product development customer reporting needs regulatory data submissions analytics for decision-making ✅ Implement data dictionaries, mapping logic, and metadata standards ✅ Maintain HIPAA-aligned handling of PHI and PMI at all times ✅ Collaborate with engineering to improve data pipelines and automation Required Skills & Experience Domain & Regulatory Knowledge ✔ Healthcare data workflows (EHR/PM/clinical systems) ✔ Understanding of PHI, PMI, HIPAA handling protocols ✔ Familiarity with PDMP, compliance reporting, and clinical measures Technical Skills ✔ SQL and MySQL querying ✔ MongoDB querying and aggregation ✔ Data wrangling using Excel/Sheets and CSV sources ✔ ETL / data cleansing concepts ✔ Ability to reconcile disparate datasets Analytical & Reporting ✔ Strong statistical and analytical thinking ✔ Ability to produce insights and narrative summaries ✔ Experience with dashboards (any of the below): Power BI Tableau Metabase Google Data Studio / Looker Studio Nice to Have ⭐ Experience in HL7, CCD/CCDA, FHIR data models ⭐ Experience with Python or R for data processing ⭐ Experience in healthcare operations or RCM analytics ⭐ Experience working with US healthcare practices ⭐ Experience with data quality automation Soft Skills ✅ High attention to detail ✅ Strong data confidentiality discipline ✅ Ability to work independently with remote US teams ✅ Clear communication and documentation abilities Education Degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related (Equivalent practical experience is acceptable) Why Join OPOS Solutions ✨ Work with real-world clinical datasets ✨ Growing healthcare tech environment ✨ Opportunity to influence data strategy and architecture ✨ Exposure to US healthcare compliance and analytics
