About the Role


We are looking for a talented Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team at elSapiens. This role involves testing our Angular-based applications, as well as Node.js and PHP-based APIs, with a strong focus on automated testing. Additionally, the Test Engineer will validate usability and ensure a top-notch user experience across our web applications.


Key Responsibilities


1. Automated Testing :

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases for Angular front-end applications to ensure all features meet functional requirements.

• Automate testing of Node.js and PHP APIs, focusing on data handling, security, and performance.

• Collaborate with developers to identify areas for automated testing and continuously expand test coverage.

2. API Testing :

• Validate API functionality and performance between front-end and back-end services, ensuring seamless data integration.

• Develop automated test scripts for RESTful API endpoints, using tools like Postman or similar for API validation.

3. Usability and UX Testing :

• Conduct usability tests to assess the user experience of web applications, identifying ways to enhance user interactions.

• Ensure intuitive navigation, clear design elements, and effective user feedback throughout the application.

4. Continuous Integration and Reporting :

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient and continuous validation.

• Use testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine) to create robust automated tests that run with each deployment.

• Document and report on testing progress, identifying and addressing bottlenecks for improved efficiency.


Requirements


• 2+ years of experience in automated software testing with Angular, Node.js, and PHP applications.

• Strong proficiency with front-end testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma).

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and in creating automated API tests.

• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and experience in validating usability in web applications.

• Experience with CI/CD environments, and proficiency in integrating automated tests within pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication of technical issues.
