Looking for Senior MySQL Adminstrator with 4 to 6 years of experience Notice: 15 to 30 days max Job Description: Role and Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain MySQL database systems. Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexes, and server configurations. Monitor database systems to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability. Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures. Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database schemas. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration. Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical guidance as needed. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience as a MySQL Database Administrator in a production environment. Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, and optimization techniques. Experience with MySQL replication, clustering, and high availability solutions. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl. Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting, etc. Certification in MySQL or related database technologies is preferred.
