CCI's mission is to provide outstanding professional support to all Citrin Cooperman offices throughout the year in the areas of accounting, attest and auditing, tax compliance and consulting, business advisory, valuation, litigation support, and other professional work.
Job description & Summary
Candidate must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting/taxation, and/or another appropriate academic major. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the fiduciary/US accounting field is required. Qualified candidate must have strong client interaction skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job responsibilities:
Qualified candidate must have experience in preparing the following independently and accurately:
Preparation of trust and estate accountings
Preparation of federal and state estate tax returns
Preparation of gift tax returns
Preparation of fiduciary income tax returns/ US Accounting knowledge for trusts and estates as well as the decedent’s final individual income tax return
Preparation and calculation of miscellaneous schedules including but not limited to commissions, final distributions and cash flow requirements.
