We are looking for an experienced Web Development Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our web applications, utilizing Java and React technologies. The Web Development Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 7 years of experience in web development, with a focus on Java and React
Strong programming skills in Java, including Java 8 and later versions
Experience with React, including React Hooks, React Redux
Knowledge of web development frameworks, such as Spring Boot
Strong understanding of web development best practices, including security, performance, and accessibility
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Certification in Java or React, such as Oracle Certified Java Programmer or React Certified Developer
Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban As React developer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Lead a team of web developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure successful project delivery
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and React, ensuring alignment with our technology stack and architecture
Collaborate with product Owners and Architects to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet those needs
Work with designers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing web applications
Ensure web applications are scalable, secure, and meet performance requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and code comments
Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code quality and best practices are maintained
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web development, particularly in Java and React
