Position - Cloud ArchitectLocation - Noida/Chennai/Pune/BangaloreExp - 12-15 Yrs.Job DescriptionAcross various service models, the Cloud Architect will design, plan, create, and manage the cloud infrastructure to ensure that it aligns with the business goals and is scalable, secure, and cost-effective. He/she will also collaborate with other IT teams, optimize performance, and ensure industry standards and regulations compliance.Core CompetenciesTechnicalWorked on different deployment and service models.Understanding of various services offered by various cloud providers.Hands-on experience on at least one Cloud platform, preferably on Google Cloud.Hands-on experience with one or more popular configuration management tools.Understanding of network service concepts in cloud.Understanding of cloud security best practices.Understanding of cloud security compliance requirements.Hands-on experience with architecting virtual computing based infrastructures.Hands-on experience on any of scripting languages is preferred.At least one professional certification.Non-technicalExcellent communication skills.Good team player.Work collaboratively with designers, testers, stakeholders and product owners.Participate in performance optimizations of existing applications.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesigning cloud-based architectures that are scalable, reliable, resilient, and secure Selecting appropriate cloud services.Conducting comprehensive analysis on existing architecture.Develop migration strategies for migrating from cloud and/or on-premise to cloud and/or on-premise.Assess readiness and dependencies for migrations and deployments from/to cloud Optimize workloads.Ensure security controls and adherence to compliances.Establish the monitoring framework for availability, performance, and security threats and devise and execute remedial strategies.Participate in security and availability assessments and devise and execute remedial strategies.Participate in DR exercises and devise and execute remedial strategies.Participate in design of integrations with external data sources and systems and resolve any challenges thereof.Anticipation of growth requirements and ensuring the plan in place for capacity additions.Qualification-BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
