Mechanical Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Drafter with strong expertise in CAD modeling, drafting standards, and engineering documentation for aerospace and defense applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with CATIA and in-depth knowledge of international and military drafting standards.
Develop accurate 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models for parts, assemblies, and sheet metal components using CATIA V5/V6 .
Create detailed manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings in compliance with organizational and defense standards.
Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes, customer requirements, or quality feedback.
Maintain and organize drawing databases, part lists, and associated documentation for configuration control.
Masters/Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
~2–5 years of drafting/design experience in aerospace, defense, or related engineering industries.
~ Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 modules:
~ Assembly Design
~ Sheet Metal Design
~ Strong knowledge of Mechanical Drafting principles and best practices.
~ Advanced understanding of GD&T with proven application in engineering drawings.
~ 5 , ISO drafting standards , and MIL-STD-100 (technical drawing conventions for defense).
~ Ability to interpret complex engineering requirements and translate them into precise technical documentation.
~ Experience working with aerospace/defense projects .
Familiarity with CAD and analysis tools such as SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS Structural and CFD
