Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesUnderstanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issuesDeveloping and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology and toolsPerforming audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.Identifying areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.Researching technical accounting issuesDeveloping industry expertisePreparing audit reports, and management lettersExercising professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagementsEnsuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firmWorking collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionalsProvide supervision and development training for associatesTaking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clientsProviding timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverablesEnsuring professional development through ongoing educationParticipating in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work.Required QualificationsBachelors in Commerce/MBAQualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA2-4 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit related fieldStrong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAASStrong multi-tasking and project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients and the United States based engagement teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience in Investment Funds industry and Real Estate Industry is preferredStrong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
