Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux Trainer with 6 to 8 years of expertise in both Linux (primarily Red Hat) and Windows systems administration, along with a solid foundation in networking. The role involves delivering comprehensive training sessions to enterprise clients, covering a wide range of topics including advanced Linux administration, Windows systems, and networking fundamentals. The trainer will also guide participants on automation tools, cloud platforms, containerization, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. A strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Linux System Administration:
o Deliver advanced training on Red Hat Linux administration, covering installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems.
o Train on core Linux concepts, including user and group management, file system management, package management (rpm, yum, dnf), and process management.
o Provide practical guidance on configuring and managing system security (firewalls, SELinux, App Armor, and security updates).
o Teach advanced disk management techniques, including Logical Volume Management (LVM), RAID configurations, and disk partitioning.
o Train on system performance tuning, kernel management, system logging, and resource monitoring tools (top, ps, iotop, vmstat).
o Provide instruction on Linux network administration, including IP configuration, routing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN setup.
o Explain containerization concepts using Docker, Podman, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
o Cover automation with Ansible for configuration management and task automation.
o Guide on cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Red Hat Linux systems.
o Teach backup strategies, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Windows System Administration:
o Train on key aspects of Windows Server management, including Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, user management, and remote access management (RDP, Power Shell Remoting).
o Deliver content on configuring and maintaining DNS, DHCP, file sharing (SMB), and print servers on Windows environments.
o Cover system hardening and security best practices, including user rights, NTFS permissions, firewalls, and encryption policies.
o Provide instruction on Windows server networking concepts such as network interfaces, static/dynamic IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and bridging.
o Offer in-depth guidance on integrating Linux systems with Windows through Samba, NFS, and file sharing protocols.
o Teach Windows Update Services (WSUS) and patch management strategies.
o Explain the deployment and management of Windows Server updates, and the use of tools like Power Shell for automation.
• Networking:
o Provide comprehensive training on networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and IP routing.
o Cover network protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SSH, SNMP, SMTP, and how they relate to both Linux and Windows environments.
o Teach network troubleshooting techniques, using tools like ping, netstat, traceroute, tcpdump, and wireshark.
o Explain virtual networks and network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, FTP) in Linux and Windows environments.
o Train on VPN (Virtual Private Network) configurations and secure network setups for remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
o Introduce network security concepts, such as firewalls (iptables, firewalld), packet filtering, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
o Cover advanced topics in network management, including traffic monitoring, load balancing, and network performance optimization.
• Additional Responsibilities:
o Customize training programs for enterprise clients, tailoring content to meet specific business needs.
o Evaluate participant progress and provide feedback to improve skills and comprehension.
o Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Linux, Windows, networking, and cloud environments.
o Provide hands-on demonstrations, exercises, and real-world examples during training sessions.
o Ensure participants gain proficiency in both theoretical and practical aspects of Linux, Windows, and networking administration.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience: 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Red Hat Linux system administration and Windows server administration.
• Linux Knowledge:
o Expertise in Red Hat Linux, including installation, configuration, and management.
o Strong knowledge of Linux networking, security, and storage management (RAID, LVM, NFS, DHCP, DNS).
o Experience with Linux performance monitoring and optimization.
o Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Windows Knowledge:
o Solid experience in managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and file server management.
o Experience in Windows networking, including DHCP, DNS, SMB, and VPN setup.
o Familiarity with Power Shell scripting and Windows automation techniques.
o Experience with system security, patch management, and system recovery strategies.
• Networking Skills:
o Deep understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
o Proficient in network troubleshooting and performance analysis tools (ping, netstat, traceroute, tcpdump).
o Familiarity with network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
o Experience with hybrid networking environments (Linux-Windows interoperability).
• Training Experience:
o Proven track record of delivering technical training to enterprise-level clients.
o Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
o Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Certifications:
o Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA)
o Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent)
o Networking certifications (Comp TIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus.
