About the Opportunity: Our client, a leading full-service law firm in India, is seeking a highly qualified Senior Associate or Counsel to join their Employment Law practice . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Indian labour and employment laws, strong client advisory skills, and the ability to lead high-impact mandates across sectors. This is a high-visibility role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, advisory-heavy environment, and is ready to take the lead on complex employment law matters including compliance, advisory, investigations, and contentious issues. Advise domestic and multinational clients on a wide range of employment and labour law issues including: Employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, and termination matters Stay abreast of developments in Indian employment law and contribute to knowledge management initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, corporate, and compliance teams LL.B. from a reputed Indian law school ~7–12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a top-tier law firm or leading in-house legal department ~ Strong command of Indian labour laws, industrial regulations, and case law developments ~ Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills ~ Experience in handling sensitive investigations and employment litigation preferred ~ Opportunity to work with a top-tier law firm with a reputed Employment Law practice High-value mandates and exposure to top domestic and international clients Competitive compensation and clear career progression path Dynamic work culture that encourages professional growth and innovation
